Dr. Michael Tugetman- Medical Director

Dr. Michael Tugetman is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.  Prior to AFC Urgent Care, he was in private practice directing all aspects of family practice care – pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric and women’s health. He is a federally registered Civil Surgeon authorized to perform immigration physicals, a certified Medical Examiner for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, as well as an authorized Yellow Fever vaccine provider.  He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Queens College, CUNY and his Medical Doctorate from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Jerold Millendorf- Board Certified Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery

Dr. Millendorf joins AFC Urgent Care after a lengthy career in the regional emergency departments; including a 15 year stay in the major reginal trauma center at St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY. Subsequent to these emergency medicine positions, Dr. Millendorf joined Vassar Brothers Hospital/Health Quest Systems and he began his career in urgent care. Dr Millendorf graduated summa cum laude from Long Island University with a B.S in Biology. He earned his medical degree from New York University Medical School in NYC. Dr. Millendorf then completed 5 years of post- graduate surgical training at NYU-Bellevue Hospital, NY Medical College, and St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center.

Dr. Geejo Geevarghese- Board Certified Family Medicine

Dr.Geevarghese, MD, is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She is also an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.  She received a Bachelor of Science and Doctorate degree from the International University of Health Sciences in St. Kitts, WI. Dr. Gee completed her Family Medicine Residency Program at the world renowned Cook County Hospital in Chicago Illinois and Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL. After completing her residency, Dr. Gee moved back to the east coast and worked for 3 years as an Attending Physician for the St Vincent’s Medical Center ER/Urgent Care Division in Bridgeport, CT.

Dr. Hicham Alnachawati- Board Certified Occupational Medicine, Environmental Medicine

Dr. A practices Urgent Care Medicine, Occupational Medicine and General Medicine. He received his Medical Diploma, MD, from University of Damascus Faculty of Medicine, in Syria. He received his Masters in Public Health, MPH, with a concentration in Health Policy and Management from New York Medical College, School of Health Sciences and Practice. Dr. A completed his residency training in Occupational and Environmental Medicine at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Dr. A has research experience throughout medical education and training involves preventive and community medicine, diabetic management in critical care medicine, burn wound surgical management, occupational and chemical burn injuries, disability medicine, and World Trade Center medical monitoring program and related pulmonary ailments.

He has clinical experience in outpatient burn injury, wound care & ulcer management, minor outpatient surgical procedures, trigger points injection, travel medicine, cancer screening, musculoskeletal disorders and injuries, disability medicine, work compensation, pre-employment & fitness-for-duty exams, occupational lung diseases and health effects of environmental and occupational exposures.
